Outline Job Profile
To manage a multi-disciplined team to achieve cost, schedule and resource requirements. Regular reporting will be essential to internal customers as well as the Products Group line management.
This includes weekly Written Flash Reports, Monthly Equipment Presentations to the Director of
Payloads and event reporting on project variances as required.
Responsibility for the technical performance of the equipment is delegated to the Equipment
Responsible Engineer, however the PTL retains ultimate responsibility for achieving all the Equipment performance requirements within cost, schedule and resource constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR SKILLS
Essential: Degree or equivalent
Desirable: Degree in Electrical Engineering; project
management training; Chartered Engineer
Previous Experience
Essential:
Three years Management responsibility in hi-tech complex environments.
Five years technical appointments in Hi-Tech complex environments.
Desirable:
Five years Management responsibility for RF/Electronic equipment for satellite applications.
Five years experience in RF/Electrical Space environment.
