Job profile
Minimum of 8 years experience in the Cisco networking field.
At least 3 years experience in a team leading role
Requires being qualified (or demonstrable) experience to CCNP, CCDP level with view to achieving CCIE standard
Must have very strong Cisco Routing, Switching and Design skills, with a primary focus on Cisco design for resilient large scale networks involving multiple technologies.
Role includes being responsible for the day to day operation of all UK based networks and Network Team Leader for company site (4 engineers)
LAN/WAN design authority for European Satellite manufacturing company
Provide technical input into/coordinate national and international network projects and participate in budget planning and be responsible for budget control.
Strong network analysis/troubleshooting skills with provision of providing Level 3 support to on-site engineers
Must lead by example and become a point of technical data networking excellence within the organization across all countries.
Team player and sense of humour essential
Security Clearance to NATO and MOD SC level (Blue badged)
Occasional travel within the UK and abroad current valid passport and driving license
Deputise for Network Manager in absence
