Electrical technician needed to join the PAG manufacturing team.
Typical activities may include, close tolerance assembly of mechanism harnesses.
Adhesive bonding of mechanical and thermal components.
The build has a mechanical content so previous experience would be an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years experience of working within an aerospace industry is a must and prior knowledge of any aspects outlined above may also be advantageous, as well as being familiar with class 100,000 clean room practises.
Familiar with and able to work with shop documentations such as drawing, work instructions and bill of materials to standard processes and procedures.
It is vital that the successful applicant can work as part of a successful and motivated team and also handle the pressures of working to tight schedules and meeting deadlines.
From time to time may be asked to work unsociable hours or travel to other sites both in Europe and farther a field.
Opportunities may also become available to work within other areas of the manufacturing department such as CPS, Antenna assembly, platform group and Thermal blanket manufacture.
The successful applicant must therefore be both flexible in their work and a quick learner to pick up new skills quickly to the required standard.
