Primarily to operate the Through Life Support Help desk facility and provide 4th line help desk engineering support to all Company Satellite Communications Ground and mobile terminals with special emphasis on the latest Skynet 5 (15 year) PFI Contract.
As a dual role to support the Field Engineering team commissioning and defect rectification on all Satellite communications terminals at ground stations, Tacticals and onboard Naval ships which are
under Company Contract will be required.
Technical helpdesk, Site management, installation work, system fault finding and system testing and Post design are the main areas of work within the TLS Engineering group

Qualifications and/or Skills
Essential:
PC literate in Word and Excel,
ONC in Electronics or equivalent
Desirable:
HNC or Degree in Electronics. Some mechanical skills would be very useful.
Previous Experience
Essential:
Good telephone technical communications skills are required.
Desirable:
3 yrs maintenance and installation experience on Satellite communications sites or similar.
