Our client Designs Develops and manufactures weapon interfacing systems cable assemblies and electrodynamic products for the Aerospace and Defence Markets.
They currently have a new position for a Business Development Executive in their Defence Systems division. The aim of this new position is to:
• Achieve further sales of new products to ensure long term platform incumbency and legacy revenue
• Analyse and prioritise opportunities, develop and close agreed targeted customers
• Manage throughput of enquiries from initial receipt, through proposal preparation and up to contract award
• Provide support to Business Development and Commercial functions
• Support sales through marketing activities
Responsibilities:
• Achieve sales of new products
• Provide weekly written status reports
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing customers, and appropriate third party influencers
• Contribute to the business knowledge base
• Provide updates to the new business forecast
