TITLE PROJECT ENGINEER (IMAGING SYSTEMS)
SALARY 45K
LOCATION KENT

Company Description
Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of thermal imaging and stabilized camera systems for a wide variety of thermography and imaging applications including condition monitoring, research and development, manufacturing process control, airborne observation and broadcast, search and rescue, drug interdiction, surveillance and reconnaissance, navigation safety, border and maritime patrol, environmental monitoring and land-based security.
Position
A position has arisen for a project engineer. The ideal candidate will be required to manage and/ or create the technical response to customer enquiries and requests for quotations (RFQs) and liaise with engineering departments based around the world. You will be required to correlate customer operational and functional requirements against our client’s standard products to minimise needs for bespoke development. As well as defining turnkey systems architecture and interfaces for the customer to ensure that user requirements are fully understood within the company and that the Company’s intentions are clearly understood. As and when necessary you will project manage new and existing contracts and proposals to ensure on-time delivery within the planned man-hours.
Key Skills
· BSc Electronic Engineering and/or significant relevant experience
· At least 5 years’ experience in a technical role providing hands-on experience of electronic or video solutions in high value, industrial, B2B or military applications
· Definition or specification of system architecture and / or equipment interfaces
· At least 2 years’ Project Management experience within Aerospace or other relevant industry
· Working knowledge of imaging surveillance systems
