Our client requires a Procurement Officer to co-ordinate and run tenders for proposed works, co-ordinate and manage a selection of tenders. Liaise with Project Managers with regards to change control notifications. Assist Technical lead / Project Manager on Quantity Surveying related issues, Commercial Managers and Commercial Team, and the Project Manager in ensuring works are delivered to budget. Provide Pre Tender estimates on proposed works and liaise with Project Managers with regards to raising Purchase Orders.
The ideal candidate would have competent IT skills with knowledge of Word and Excel. Proficient presentation and report writing skills. The ability to work on own initiative and multi - task, with good communication skills and a flexible approach. A great team player with an understanding of construction processes.
