OUTLINE JOB
An experienced AOCS Systems Engineer is required to take technical and staff management lead on a
major new spacecraft project with specific responsibility for the full spacecraft AOCS system design, development and implementation.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake management tasks such as leadership of
engineering team, interfacing with customers and controlling project budgets.
Technical tasks will include performing architectural design and trade off activities, developing new
engineering approaches and technologies, providing guidance to less experienced Engineers.
Job is a stimulating blend of technical work and the leadership and motivation of a bright

TECHNICAL TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
Developing and maintaining the overall AOCS architectural design
Interfacing with the Spacecraft Systems team regarding AOCS performance requirements, equipment
accommodation, thermal requirements, electrical interfaces, etc.
Definition of the AOCS failure detection, isolation
