Our Client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to Monitor, respond to, or escalate as necessary and appropriate, all critical and non-critical building management system defects and alarms.
Carry out all PPM, reactive, and statutory inspection activities - in accordance with set schedules and inspection matrix to ensure that a high degree of engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of Plant and equipment.
Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA), British Standards and best practice.
Deal with emergencies and breakdowns. This requires a high level of commitment and participation in an 'on call' rota for emergencies outside normal working hours. Attendance will also be required occasionally outside normal hours to deal with certain maintenance procedures and specialist contractors.
Ensure on-site Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects, and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated to the PPM and plant.
Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all help desk requests, and ensure that SLA targets are kept at premium levels.
Assist other trades as necessary.
To undertake miscellaneous duties as requested.
Essential Qualifications:
Domestic Corgi Membership
A current full driving license and the willingness to be mobile
