<b>Job Summary</b> <br><p><strong>Design Team Leader</strong> - To lead multi-disciplined design teams on industrial facility and services design projects.</p><br><br><b>Requirements</b> <br><i><strong>Essential</strong></i><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Chartered Engineer<li>Design background and previous experience in leading multi-disciplined teams<li>Previous experience of working in a regulated industry where safety performance is a major factor in the design solution<li>Previous design project management experience including budgetary control and schedule and responsibility for successful project delivery<li>Optioneering and Value-engineering experience<li>Minimum SC level UK security clearance (either currently held or candidates will need to be in a position to attain this) </li></ul><i></i></p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience within a consultancy environment<li>Experience of designing within a nuclear licensed site<li>Sub-contracting design packages and managing project delivery through external suppliers<li>Concurrent design and safety case generation</li></ul></p><strong>Personal Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Client relationship management skills</li></ul></p><br><br><b>Training</b> <br></p>Atkins develops individuals through a portfolio of training and development courses designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents.
