<b>Job Summary</b> <br><p>As a joint appointment within the Design and Engineering Solutions Group between Nuclear and Power and Design and Programme Management, an Operations Director is required to lead the establishment and operation of an Atkins design organisation.</p><br><br><b>Requirements</b> <br>The successful candidate will have significant experience in:</p><ul><li>leading large scale multi-disciplined design projects<li>managing businesses within Atkins<li>client management at senior level in large client organisation<li>working in highly regulated industries</li></ul>Key aspects of the role:</p><ol><li>Responsible for Health, Safety and Security of the staff and activities<li>Prime point of contact with clients at whole relationship level<li>Overall responsibility for successful project delivery<li>Proactively seek to develop future initiatives (and capacity) in line with business plan<li>Provide timely and effective reporting to Clients and Senior Management<li>To manage profit and cash flow in line with principles agreed<li>Location is split between client site offices and Atkins' Epsom and Bristol offices<li>The role will require the incumbent to attain a high level of UK security clearance</li></ol><br><br><b>Training</b> <br></p>Atkins develops individuals through a portfolio of training and development courses designed to help you make the best of your abilities and talents.
