<b>Job Description</b> <br><p>Atkins Power are looking for an experienced Operations Engineer to join the Energy Solutions team based at our offices in Eynsham, Oxford.</p><p>Suitable candidates will possess a good qualification in either Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering and will ideally have experience in the operation of distributed generation plant, including reciprocating engine and gas turbine technologies.</p><br><br><b>Requirements</b> <br>A degree qualified engineer with some relevant post-graduation experience gained in the UK energy/power industry. Previous experience in boiler plant or combined heat and power (CHP) plants would be beneficial. <br><br><b>Responsibilities</b> <br><p>Duties will be varied, but typically projects will include:</p><ul><li>energy management in industrial locations and buildings <li>plant operational support for boiler plant and combined heat and power plants (CHP) <li>project development and project management on various forms of power generation including on-shore wind projects (industrial windfarms) <li>management of maintenance contracts and the supervision of maintenance contractors <li>responding to plant faults <li>health and safety <li>maintaining excellent client relationships</li></ul><p>The role will require a degree of flexibility in working location as the Operations Engineer will be required to provide technical management and support to CHP plants across the country .</p><br><br><b>Reward
