Job Title: Structural Engineers:
Our client, a long established supplier of consultancy services to the Marine and Offshore Industries has immediate vacancies for a number of structural engineers to be based in London. There are permanent and potential contract positions available.
The work is varied and may encompass some of the following areas:
· The design of grillages, seafastenings, and installation aids,
· The design of FPSO hulls, barges, and semi-submersibles.
The engineers will work in project teams with naval architects, and mariners. It is likely that the positions will involve some overseas travel.
Ideal candidates will be degree qualified, with some experience in one or more of the above areas. The experience should include preparation of design calculations in accordance with appropriate codes, plus possible knowledge of FE packages.
