Commercially astute and self motivated Project Manager required for major defence client. 3 years Project management experience; Experience of defence Industry, ideally MOD programmes; Demonstrated knowledge/experience of Communication Systems; Proficiency in standard Windows-based project management tools; Electronics/Physics graduate (min 2:1); Team Player; Technically competent, able to communicate effectively with customers / senior management and identify, evaluate, mitigate technical and programme risks. ROLE: Liaison with customers; Generate, monitor, report on Project Plans, Progress and Risk, Costs; Resource Planning; Ensure project deliver to time, budget, specification; Liaising with purchasing, production / QA departments to ensure successful transition to product; Business Management of other programme with communication Systems SBU; Frequent UK and overseas travel.
