Chief Scientist: Our client seeks a highly innovative/creative engineer, with experience in communication system design. Responsible for strategic technical direction and identification of innovative, creative / marketable systems architectures / solutions to keep the business unit at the forefront of communication system technologies. Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment. Attention to detail / highly productive, willing to invest the effort required to meet high quality expectations; Excellent presentation / proposal writing skills. ROLE: Review of emerging technologies; Establish a plan for their exploitation; Maintain technical excellence in the department; Identify/champion new development tools; Peer review of work produced by engineering teams; Technical coaching / development of engineers; Support marketing / business development, including technical presentations and proposal writing.
