Our client requires a Mechanical Design Engineer for the design of communication equipment. You will use Pro Engineer and Wind Chill document management system to prepare drawings to BS8888 and Def Stan 05-10. Also maintain drawings using standard configuration procedures and create Bill of Materials. You will have an HND in Mechanical Engineering , experience in low volume manufacture and manufacture for manual assembly and design for EMC (knowledge of TEMPEST desirable). Pro-E, Intralink (pdm-link) and ACAD (2D) essential along with 5 years experience in electronic packaging (ideally a military environment). Good knowledge of general manufacturing processes, practices and materials (small batch production) and 5 years experience in Mechanical Design.
