You will be supporting a range of government and public sector clients providing vulnerability (CHECK) assessments as well as guidance on security issues associated with Encryption, Remote System Access, Firewalls, Access Control, and Internet products.
Qualifications / Experience
Educated to degree level preferably in IT or Science related degree.
Check Team Leader
Systems / Engineering background working in the field of systems / software development including security architecture before operating successfully as an IT Security Consultant.
Domain Knowledge
Should have in depth knowledge of the security issues associated with Remote Access, Firewalls, Internet Technology, Windows NT.
Knowledge of CMW (Compartmented Mode Workstations), Internet Technology, Firewall Products, Access Control Devices, Encryption products and algorithms.
Should have the ability to classify information sensitivity and determine the security, requirement needs to protect that information.
Should have the ability to analyse the major information flows within an organisation.
Should have in depth experience as Systems Architect or designer of secure Communications and Information Systems.
