Marketing Assistant
Birmingham, Smethwick

Our client is an international manufacturer and UK supplier of industrial, corporate and specialist clothing and footwear. They currently seek to recruit a Marketing Assistant.
Experience and skills required:
- Graduate/Placement/Consultancy
- Knowledge of all Windows Office & design software essential
- Proof of creative and successful marketing projects
- 2nd Language preferred (not essential)
- Prepared to Travel to Asia
- Meet regular tight dead lines for both customers and internal requirements
- Marketing & Design qualifications and or suitable external qualifications
- Knowledge of clothing and footwear preferred
- Determination to be different but effective
Your duties will include:
- Create regular, seasonal marketing strategy for existing and new products
- Publish media and promotional editorial features
- Attending exhibitions, factories and suppliers
- Constant use of initiative and idea focused
- Web site design and updating
- Review point of sale and packaging of products
- Liaison with suppliers, exhibition events both UK and world wide
- Reporting to the directors and liaison with the company's sales teams
You will receive a competitive package, dependent on experience. Hours are 9-5 ( with some flexibility needed). The role has true potential, with success rewarded by a Management Position.
