Senior Campaign Manager - Marketing Campaigns
Oxfordshire, nr. Wantage

Our client is the UK's biggest B2B full service marketing agency specialising in measurable demand generation, data and intelligence gathering, and remarkable communications for software and IT services companies. Their proven methodology blends practical experience and flair to deliver sustained demand for clients.

The Marketing Innovations Team consults with clients and Client Services team to plan integrated campaigns; thinking about the very best ways to communicate with a client's market. MiT then works on the delivery of these projects, particularly the copywriting and project management.

The role of the Client Campaign Manager is central in the creation in the delivery of campaigns for clients. Working in a role where you are the lynchpin between clients and the delivery teams, our client is looking for individuals who can take responsibility for creating compelling marketing communications, which deliver a persuasive message and influence buying behaviour. Following a project from brief to implementation, you will have the ability to create and control projects at a campaign level across direct mail, telemarketing, data and digital marketing with a strong emphasis on working closely with design work through to execution.

Your main duties will be:
- To maintain day-to-day contact with key client individuals when planning, executing and delivering individual campaigns.
- To develop and implement marketing themes and messaging from those pitched by the Marketing Innovations Team (MiT) for campaigns and explicit deliverables
- To take these deliverables through to operational delivery via our various in-house teams across multiple media (email, web, direct mail, brochures etc.)
- To be the proactive person responsible within the organisation for a specific workstream and/or project, reporting to the Client Services Director
- To understand and contribute to the development of successful campaign pieces across all media, taking ultimate responsibility for quality and fit-for-purpose
- To own and manage the quality of output throughout the various campaign deliverables to the specification and timescales of the client
- To contribute to the development of campaign and B2B marketing best practice through internal meetings and training
- To track progress against published internal and external targets on a weekly basis
- To escalate any issues (including missed targets or the potential to miss a target) to the CSD on a case by case basis.
- To ensure internal administration tasks are fulfilled (timesheets, forecasting etc)
Supervisory and managerial responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of workstreams relating to the client and forecasting and directing the execution of those within the operational team.
- To represent not only the company but their clients in a intelligent professional manner
- To follow and actively input into the Company's best practice and intellectual property

Knowledge and skills required:
- Previous experience in a marketing communications environment or similar, either client or agency side, is a pre-requisite for this role
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and a project plan – good project management skills/direction essential
- The ability to oversee projects and keep momentum in campaigns via strong client relationships and internal relationships
- A goal orientated individual – must keep in mind targets for client campaigns
- Commercial awareness
- A desire to really understand the client's business issues and help to tackle them
- Self-starter and able to work confidently to deliver a programme of activity
- Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills an advantage
- Degree educated desirable
