They currently have a vacancy for a highly organised individual to join their International Support team on either a full time (40 hours per week) or part time (32 hours per week) basis.
In this role, which is based in the UK office in Hertfordshire, you will be responsible for managing tasks within Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other specified regions to:
- Build international awareness about the company
- Identify and develop business opportunities for all areas of the business
- Support business units with their international clients and participants
This is an interesting and varied role requiring you to work on your own initiative in consultation with the company's partners, representatives and faculty sales teams for the various regions. There are many aspects to the role including project management, co-ordination of events, marketing, sales and client relations.
Duties will include:
- Contributing to the formulation of strategies, marketing plans and budgets for the regions
- Developing relationships with potential international clients and with overseas participants and dealing with their requests and enquiries
- Organising regional client visits, events, conferences and programmes
- Maintaining accurate up to date client contact details on the company database
- Generating press interest in the company
- Supervising intern students
- Providing accurate financial information for partners/representatives, affiliates, sales teams and internal systems
Ideally you will have administrative experience at a senior level operating in a business development/marketing environment and/or have a qualification in International Marketing. Fluent written and spoken German is highly desirable. Excellent influencing skills, project management skills, cultural awareness and sensitivity as well as an understanding of budgetary control are essential. A good working knowledge of databases, Word, Powerpoint, Excel and e-mail is required.
