Our client is the largest service registrar in the UK and provides a wide range of associated services to over 2000 companies. Key objectives of the role: Introduce profitable new products/services. Develop and introduce customer and product propositions in support of business development opportunities Project manage the implementation of new products/services ensuring the stated benefits are realised. Lead and develop a team of direct reports, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the development and production of the highest quality marketing collateral and support for all areas of the business. Commercial awareness sound understanding of financial services market, ideally with a background in the business-to-business arena. Conceptual thinking strong strategic thinker with the intellect and ability to think across a portfolio of existing and potential products and their associated value generation. Innovation create appealing and innovative product concepts and communications. Organisational awareness ability to see the bigger picture, challenge opinions, and recognise the impact of opportunities across the business. Project management prepare project plans, continuously review progress and re-define plans, understand and balance priorities, identify and agree resource requirements and manage cross-project dependencies. Initiative ability to recognise, anticipate and create solutions to issues and problems in a timely manner and with minimum supervision. Team leadership ability to mentor and provide direction to a team of direct reports at varying stages of their careers. Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams. Experience/expertise required Previous working experience of new product development processes with proven success in driving new product/service launches, ideally within a financial services environment. Project management experience gained within a business development and/or sales and marketing environment. Proven team leadership, people management and people development skills. Exposure to marketing communications practices and processes, preferably gained within a financial services environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
