. Position Summary
The Product Manager, EMEA is responsible for managing the introduction of new video security products into the EMEA and U.K. markets from product concept through to stable delivery. Their main activities will include engaging with the U.S. based Product Management team early in the product definition process, to assure U.K. and EMEA customer requirements, and service requirements are addressed.
II. Principal Duties
· Interact with customers and sales to determine customer and market needs.
· Make product feature recommendations to corporate Product Management, consistent with overall product roadmap strategy.
· Coordinating with U.S. based service and training organization to assure U.K. based service organisation is prepared to support the new products.
· Training the Sales organisation and assuring they have all necessary equipment, presentation material, and literature to sell the new products.
· Manages sales requests for custom development and interacts with sales to determine business justification. Works with Product Management in U.S. to prioritise custom development requests.
· Participates with Sales to define content of vertical marketing sales collateral and develop ROI models.
· Collects and organises competitive information for use by Sales team.
III. Leadership Responsibility
The Product Manager, EMEA will have no staff reporting directly into him/her. The role is however, a key management role within the organisation and requires the individual to be a strong leader, capable of taking ownership of issues when required and seeing them through to successful resolution.
