My client is a well-established manufacturer and importer of electrical products including relays, safety protection and level control equipment. They now seek to further expand their team with an experienced Product Manager to look after key franchises for them on a daily basis.
The main functions of this role will involve the ordering of products, stock control, inventory management, taking inquiries, generating quotes and discussing applications with customers. This is an excellent role which would encourage candidates from broad line distributors or OEM's, to take the next step in their already successful careers. They want an enthusiastic person who should have a strong knowledge e-mech. Products (relays, timers, level controls, machine safety products and switches).
A formal electrical qualification such as an HND is not essential, but a distinct advantage, a background in a similar position is a must. Willing to work hard as part of a small team, the role involves building relationships with customers via telephone and sales/technical visits, so excellent communication skills are a pre requisite.
