Our client, a well known household name in the meat industry are looking for teams of promotional staff to travel extensively around the UK with their Sampling Roadshow. Accommodation expenses are paid while you are on the road – and even time off to see the places you have travelled to. The Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for supervising daily sampling activities of a team of up to 5 people, driving a van and trailer between venues, ensuring stock and equipment levels are correct, liasing with venue staff and ensuring all paperwork is complete. The Chef/Assistant Co-ordinator will assist the EC in their duties whilst also cooking hot food samples and being responsible for cleanliness and hygiene of the unit. For both positions you will need to be bubbly and outgoing, an enthusiastic “foody”, well organised and a self-starter. You will also need to be presentable and have excellent interpersonal skills. Promotions, marketing or sales experience desirable, but not essential. UK valid driving license essential for both roles and for the EC role you must be confident about driving a large van and trailer. You must be willing to travel extensively throughout the UK, speak fluent English and be eligible to work in the UK to apply. This is a Temp 6 month Contract.
