Our Client is a UK-based software development and information technology outsourcing company with offshore development teams in China. They provide offshore outsourcing solutions to enterprises worldwide. Combining proven expertise in technology, and an understanding of emerging business domains, They deliver a range of outsourcing services that includes custom software development, enterprise system development & integration solutions and a wide variety of web applications and design.
They now urgently require a marketing assistant/executive with reasonable commercial experience. The position involves locating suitable markets and business opportunities within the UK and then formulating and implementing a business plan and marketing strategy to help us make the most of these commercial opportunities. Day to day duties involve market research, customer contact, negotiating fees and contracts, and implementation of marketing strategies.
You will ideally come from a strong educational background with good marketing skills. Excellent communication skills are essential and IT background would be appreciated. This role will give you the opportunity to work with a professional software development team and will be project based, working with a wide variety of companies. Further training and career development will be provided.
You must be proactive, able to work on your own initiative and have excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a great development role for someone eager to make an impact. This is an exciting opportunity as the successful candidate will be involved in promoting career by rolling out national and local campaigns, liaising with the media and press and building relationships with key partners. You would be able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Salary will depend on level of experience and is on a scale of £14-£20k + benefits and long term prospects.
