The Company:
Established precision engineering and sheetmetal fabrication organisation, currently working in a variety of market sectors including retail, material handling, vending, office furniture and many others.
The Applicant:
Seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated & extremely competent CNC Machinist with a proven ability to programme, set and operate.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting into the Production Manager, duties will include:
- Full CNC Programme creation
- Setting and prove out of programmes and processes
- Operating
- In process inspection of components produced
Skills and Abilities:
- Suitably experienced in CNC Turning. Working knowledge of Fanuc controls an advantage, but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of the performance characteristics of a variety of materials, essentially mild steel, stainless steel, copper and plastics.
- Well organised and able to maintain a good level of housekeeping and hygiene
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work to fine tolerances and high quality standards
