BUSINESS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
Specialist Manufacturer – SAP Environment
Excellent Opportunity to Shape the Operational Processes of this Leading Organisation
West Yorkshire To £40,000, Plus Benefits
The client designs and manufactures specialist units which it supplies together with a range of value added service to high profile customers throughout the UK and Ireland. Part of a leading global group, manufacturing is through a combination of fabrication and assembly along process flowlines with a mix of make to stock and make to order and where design, project-management, installation and after sales service complete the full customer proposition. The Group has recently completed the installation of SAP across its mainstream functions and sees this as central to its overall mission of being the best performing organisation in its industry. As Process Improvement Manager, and part of a small global team, you will play a key role in this, impacting on the efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of the UK processes – in particular commercial, production, sourcing and planning. A key influencer, you will work closely with operations teams across the organisation – delivering operational improvements and facilitating the introduction of new processes – where you will be the prime point of contact, internally and externally, in balancing the need for compliance with group processes with the requirement for more localised solutions. Ideally a graduate, it is essential that you have a demonstrable track record of achievement in a manufacturing organisation which is successfully utilising SAP. You will have a real understanding of best practice and exposure to business process engineering in the context of how these can deliver operational improvements across a broad front. It follows, therefore that you will possess first hand SAP experience either as a user or in a similar process improvement role. This is a very visible role reporting both locally and to Group, and will suit a proactive, resilient pragmatist who has communication and interpersonal skills of the highest order. This is a superb opportunity to make a significant impact in a forward looking group; in addition to the competitive package, relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
