To provide the necessary support and organisation to cell activities on a daily basis ensuring the effective and efficient manufacture of pumps to the quality standards that match planned production requirements. Supervision and co-ordination of a team of 4 team leaders and 30 direct staff to support the above activities and ensure a safe working environment.
The successful candidate will effectively plan and organise the daily workload for team(s) to ensure key perforamance measures of H&S, delivery, quality & cost are achieved.
·Support and promote the ongoing continues improvement of both the product and process to help achieve targets and goals.
·Identify necessary training and support required for each Cell Operative within team. Organise relevant training.
Escalate problems to senior management to ensure efficient operation of team.
·Promote effective communication between cell teams (where applicable) and ensure efficiency is maximised.
·Conduct the annual personal performance development review (PPDR) appraisals of all staff team members.
·Promote, support and develop the team measures and strive to ensure that all team members achieve the required performance.
·Maintain the skills and training matrix and ensure that this document is constantly updated to reflect the status of each individual and the operational needs of the business at all times.
