A €multi-billion food and food ingredients manufacturer with a truly international presence, our client occupies leading positions in several important markets in Europe and the Americas. Profitable, ambitious and growing, an outstanding opportunity is now available to join a well invested site employing c.300 people within a dynamic European division offering scope for future career development.
Reporting to the Divisional Process Director, you will play a leading role in challenging and driving up manufacturing standards and developing new and improved process methodology. By benchmarking against competitors, evaluating new equipment and technologies, monitoring costs and reporting on process feasibility your input will further enhance a market-leading position. NPD support, troubleshooting, product launches and trials plus close liaison with production and engineering will all feature as you become a champion of continuous process improvement at all levels. From time to time your skills may be sought by other plants around the division.
Ideally a Science graduate with at least 5 years process development experience, you will have an understanding of plant design relevant to the food industry. Cost conscious and commercially aware, you will set the highest standards, constantly seeking improvements in processes, systems and people. In this high profile position you will need excellent communication and influencing skills and a proven ability to lead others from a range of disciplines in order to translate your ideas from vision to reality.
