Our Client is a leading supplier of mains and service fittings and valves into the international water and gas industries with an annual turnover of £30 million.
They are now seeking to make appointments for Assembly and Machine shop team leaders to strengthen the management structure at our manufacturing site in Kings Heath, Birmingham.
Reporting to the Site Manager, your role will be to co-ordinate the work activities of your team to ensure sales and quality targets are met in a safe and cost effective manner. You will be responsible for effective communication with your team, involving them in problem solving and organising the ongoing development of their skills.
You will have a good working knowledge of either assembly or conventional machining operations in a high volume manufacturing environment. In addition to several years experience of leading a team you will have excellent communication and influencing skills as well a good understanding of modern manufacturing techniques.
