An urgent requirement for an experienced small batch manufacturing Production Manager has arisen to join my client who are based in Liverpool for initially a 3 month contract. There is a strong possibility for this contract to be extended or even to be made permanent.
The ideal candidates must:
Be very hands on
Experienced in a small batch electrical environment
Able to work on an MRP system.
Have experience of KANBAN
Be able to process orders and changes.
Create proposals and work towards future development.
Switchgear experience will be highly beneficial.
Ability to manage around 43 other personnel - (including supervisors, buyer and planner.)
My client are a batch manufacturer of high performance electronic filters, inductors and capacitors for the telecoms, defence and professional industry market sectors.
