Our client is a sub-contract manufacturer of electronic assemblies offering full turn-key solutions. The company operates in both the UK and European markets. Due to their continued growth they require a manufacturing engineer to join their existing team.
This role will require the successful applicant to work as a member of an established engineering team to generate, review and update manufacturing documentation and procedures associated with the manufacture of electronic Printed Circuit Board assemblies.
You will be involved in:
* The translating and conversion of customer Bills of Materials into internal MRP system. (EFACS)
* Generating and updating assembly data for existing and new products.
* Liaising with customers regarding the engineering of new products and Engineering changes ECNs related to existing products.
To fulfil these duties successfully, the company require candidates who hold either a good degree/diploma in an Engineering discipline (preferably Electrical/Electronics) or a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role within the electronics industry. In addition, knowledge of ROHS and related manufacturing issues will be advantageous to your application.
