Our client is a major player within the FMCG chilled food sector with an exceptional reputation for its quality and customer service and are currently seeking an FMCG chilled Section Leader. Ambitious to move the company forward and develop their people skills and efficiencies further, you will be experienced in chilled food and preferably have some knowledge and experience of implementing CI projects or have a wish to develop lean manufacturing skills.
The role will involve:
Managing a team to ensure KPIs and business objectives are met
Liaising with the production team to ensure that production targets are met on time
Ensuring Health and Safety targets are met
Working in adherence to Food Standard legislation throughout the production process
Supervising the quality of the product and ensuring non-conformances are dealt with
Implementing and reviewing continuous improvement initiatives
