Process Engineer

Basic up to £30k + Benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding organisation. You will ideally be familiar with the automotive industry quality requirements, QS9000, and Advanced Quality Planning. Understanding of FMEA, 8D and other formal improvement tools are essential. It is a pre-requisite that you have projection and or resistance welding experience on copper terminal coupled with any or all of the following Microelectronics skill technology areas : Die attach / Surface Mount, Wire Bonding and Interconnect, Encapsulation using gels, resins and conductive materials.
Previous experience in manufacturing product start-up, desirable through the design and development phases prior to transfer to manufacture.
A passion for process improvement and experience of formal continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage (Kaizen, Six Sigma etc). You will have knowledge of and practical experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
