High volume electronics manufacturing industry,
The process Engineer will be ideally familiar with the automotive industry quality requirements, QS9000, and Advanced Quality Planning. Understanding of FMEA, 8D and other formal improvement tools is essential. It is a pre-requisite that you have any or all of the following Microelectronics skill technology areas :
Die attach / Surface Mount, Wire Bonding and Interconnect, Encapsulation using gels, resins and conductive materials, Welding and Joining
Previous experience in manufacturing product start-up, desirable through the design and development phases prior to transfer to manufacture. Passion for process improvement and experience of formal continuous improvement methodologies and advantage (Kaizen, Six Sigma etc)
The successful Engineer will have knowledge of and practical experience in a lean manufacturing environment. Demonstrated successes and progressive advancements with three to eight years in the electronics manufacturing industry.
