Their primary focus is on automotive systems, light industrial motion controls and appliance controls which are used in a wide variety of applications from computers to automotive. Their products are designed to meet the exponential demand for energy efficient products in the fast moving, technological automotive sector.
In additional to manufacturing a variety of power modules and power motion control solutions, they offer surface mount PCB integration and module growth capabilities on site as well as offering wafer saw and 100% Known Good Die Testing.
The Materials Manager plans, co-ordinates and directs day to day activities related to supplier interface to attain material cost, quality, delivery and inventory level targets set forth by the EMS business plan. The individual is responsible to actively participate in vendor selection processes in conjunction with corporate strategic purchasing organisation. The Materials Manager will develop and implement state of the art vendor development and sourcing activities/programs, vendor management and the implementation of action plans to attain stated cost, delivery, inventory levels and quality goals for purchased components. The individual must be capable to develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet local sourcing requirements and maximise the economic returns associated with the cost of purchased materials. The Materials Manager must be capable to seamlessly interact with a strategic purchasing organisation and build upon existing core competencies. Will manage the material planning activity to minimise inventory levels and to attain required/stated on time material delivery goals.
The successful candidate MUST HAVE A HIGH VOLUME AUTOMOTIVE BACKGROUND
