This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing high volume electronics organisation. Their primary focus is on automotive systems.
The Test Equipment Technician will participate in new product engineering activities related to the development of customer specific motor drives test equipment. The Test Equipment Technician will participate on specific motor drive developments, testing of products and provide feedback to systems engineering group on product and Test improvements. You will interface with internal organizations as well as suppliers and other development partners.
Main Responsibilities:
Performs test engineering tasks in support of automotive systems' developments by designing, fabricating PCBA circuitry to simplify testing activity.
Executes Test related activities in harmony with project schedule and technology plan.
Conducts testing benchmarking studies and provides feedback to the development team.
Conducts testability studies of processes and products under development.
Supports the development of solid manufacturing practices, data generation and analyses.
Participates in failure analysis, DOEs and 8D problem solving activities.
Candidates will have experience in the high volume/high reliability electronics environment (Semiconductor or Hybrid electronics preferred) with a minimum of 5 years experience in production test equipment development or support.
