Due to an internal promotion the role of Area Operations Manager, South has become available.
Located in Wales and reporting to the Engineering & Operations Director the main focus of this role is to manage all aspects of manufacturing operation.
Responsible for the management of production on the sites - for the full range of gas and liquid products, and for ensuring 24 hour continuous customer supply.
Responsible for the maintenance of the plants, both scheduling and execution such that they are in good working, safe and efficient. This includes isolation, testing and re-commissioning equipment following maintenance.
Management and enhancement of on-going client relationships and contracts through high quality customer service, day to day contact including visits and meetings, and the promotion of continuous improvement for both parties.
The ideal candidate will hold a chemical or mechanical engineering degree with significant experience of plant operations or a 'time served' employee with 15 years experience.
