My Hertfordshire based client is currently recruiting for the follow candidate to work within a semi-clean air room environment with a small team of approx 6 engineers. Manufacture and assembly of accurate gyrocompass elements and assemblies. Work requires a keen eye for detail and good eyesight for the accurate work required.
1)To assemble company products to drawings, layout and specifications in accordance with company standards and procedures.
2)To manufacture components using machine tools to drawings, layout and specifications in accordance with company standards and procedures.
3)To adhere to company and statutory health and safety rules and regulations applicable.
4)To provide training where necessary and recognize own training needs.
5)To give assistance in mechanical maintenance.
6)To control, manage data accuracy with actual and instigate improvement and housekeeping programmes for Swan Manufacturing System within the realms of the position.
7)Assisting elsewhere in the department as required by the Production Supervisor.
8)Undertaking special projects as agreed with the Operations Manager.
9)Liaising with production on daily basis for priorities and to ensure and informed workforce.
