My client based in Suffolk has a requirement for a Production Engineer.
Major Responsibilities & Tasks:
Provide a highly professional interface between manufacturing and engineering.
In partnership with Design Engineering, provide appropriate feedback regarding DFM.
Devise, develop & implement creative solutions to assist assembly process
Interface on the co-ordination of new product introduction with Project Managers.
Development of high level process techniques in support of manufacturing improvements
Provide standard Production Engineering support to Product Teams, with appropriate attention to jigs and fixtures in Assembly.
Through the application of analytical techniques, apply value engineering to existing products
Support the development of throughput manufacture.
Acting as an ambassador for the Production Engineering area.
Remains current in relevant industry trends, market conditions, and informed about key competition/market leaders.
Ideally candidates will be qualified to HNC or equivalent
