A leading Chilled food manufacturer now has a permanent opportunity in the Lancashire area for an experienced Shift Manager to manage the production effectively to ensure optimum line efficiency and utilisation is achieved. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you may also be required to deputise for the Production Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
Collate KPI information
Work within the KPI structure
Overall management of the cooked line
Preparation of relevant reports
Work within budgeted targets
Attain target efficiencies on the cooked line
Develop and motivate team members
Maintain training plans
Attend relevant meetings
Conduct performance reviews
Conduct relevant briefings to the team
You will be in a similar position within an FMCG Food manufacturing environment ideally within the chilled, fast paced sector.
A proven track record in motivational techniques and a working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators will be essential as well as the ability to make instant decisions.
