A blue-chip FMCG Food manufacturer based in the South West are seeking a Technical Team Manager to support the Technical Manager in the day to day running of the technical department in this fast paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of finished product is in line with company and customer specifications by ensuring the safety, training and development needs of your team are identified and satisfied.
This role is commutable from Weston-Super-Mere, Bristol, Bridgewater and Trowbridge.
The successful candidate will posses a sound understanding of Food Safety and Quality standards required in a food manufacturing environment, strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills along with attention to detail and the ability to think quickly. You will be an organised, 'results' orientated individual with adherence to high standards and continuous improvement with a recognised food hygeine qualification and ideally but not essentially a qualification in a Science related subject.
