Supplier Quality Engineer
£25K + Bens
West Yorkshire
My client is solely focused on the design, manufacture and distribution of digital receivers and decoders for the reception of digital satellite, cable and terrestrial television. They are looking to recruit an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to work within a small supplier quality team, liaising with contractors and vendors on quality issues. Work with suppliers to focus their products and processes to achieve consistent product quality, repeatability and long-term reliability. Work with Commodity specialists and Buyers on managing and improving the quality of all electronic components, particularly core silicon devices. Take a proactive approach to supplier quality, and build relationships with key suppliers to ensure the correct quality systems and processes are adopted. Background in high volume electronics manufacture. Preferred background and experience in silicon and other general electronic components.
