PCB Cell Leader / Electronics Production Leader
Our client, a global manufacturer of component and subsystem devices, requires an experienced PCB Cell Leader for a 3-6 month contract based near Glasgow.
This position would suite a current Cell Leader looking for a change, and Electronics Production / manufacturing Team Leader or a Senior Electronics Production.
Candidates MUST be very experienced in all aspects of PCB's, Electronics Production and the process involved. You will also have previous experience of leading or managing people in a production / manufacturing environment.
ROLE
The Cell Leader duties include:-
? Co-ordinating & managing the assigned areas of production and related services achieving timely completion of production in the most effective manner.
? Developing and maintaining both a workforce and safe work environment capable of meeting contract targets.
? Obtaining the most favourable cost, quality of work, and preventing interruption of production schedules.
? Managing and organising assembly operations to utilise skills and experience of the workforce to the best advantage.
? Managing own Assembly Area in the appropriate manner to provide optimum performance.
? Managing a program of preventive maintenance and repair of equipment in accordance with the production needs and Company objectives.
? Acting as the liaison between management and the workforce and maintain the highest possible level of employer / employee relationships.
? Co-ordinating with the 'Head of Department' or Quality personnel on a daily basis to discuss and document quality issues.
? Monitoring product standards and if quality drops below the established standard, determine why standards are not being maintained and how to improve the product.
