Redline Group are currently seeking an Applications Support Scientist for a Client who develops and markets innovative laboratory automation products, including instrumentation and consumable devices.
We are seeking a scientist with at least 2 years laboratory experience, preferably within a customer-focused environment, to demonstrate and support instruments and applications that are placed in field situations for user trials. Duties will include hands on experimental work, carrying out and analysing multiple test protocols and some statistical analysis of resulting data as part of the validation process; all within a customer-facing environment. You will also be responsible to coordinate, support and report on the progress of target client sites. The position will require you to work closely with both our product development group and our sales team. This role will require a certain amount of travelling, initially within the UK, and then to the EU and US.
You will hold a degree in molecular biology or biochemistry or another related field. Experience in analysis techniques and scientific report writing is required.
