TEAM LEADER
c. £30,000+ benefits package includingfinal salary pension

Our client is a leading fmcg manufacturer supplying the major multiples with a broad range of branded and own-label products. The company’s success to date is based on their reputation for innovation, quality and technical expertise along with their ability to deliver total product solutions to a dynamic and demanding market place.
Leading, managing and motivating a team of 30, this role will have responsibility for delivering against demanding productivity, quality, cost and health & safety targets. A key focus of the role will be on further improving production performance and machine efficiency in a high tech, semi-automated environment, whilst supporting the team on an ongoing basis through the development and implementation of modern problem solving tools and techniques. Candidates, ideally qualified to HND level in a relevant discipline, will have a minimum of 18 months experience gained as a manufacturing team leader in a progressive, change-oriented fmcg environment, preferably supplying food products. Leadership skills are prerequisite for this role and candidates must have a track record of performance improvement delivered through effective team management. This is a critically important appointment with a blue chip organisation offering excellent career prospects and a competitive salary and attractive benefits package will be negotiated for the right, high calibre individual.
