Production Manager. Hertfordshire. Herts. London Home Counties North, LHCs
Production Manager located in Hertfordshire to manage production personnel and machinery in such a way as to ensure optimum efficiency, cost effectiveness and product availability.
The successful Production Manager will be:
Managing the production process in consultation with the Planning Manager and Sales Office Manager meeting customer delivery expectations.
Controlling the storage of all materials and goods (whether manufactured internally or externally) that are required to satisfy sales requirements.
Motivate all team members to achieve maximum results whilst maintaining morale.
Maintain excellent quality and environmental standards in accordance with company procedures.
Implementation and maintenance of 5S.
In conjunction with Manufacturing Manager to devise and implement systems to measure productivity
Analyse, report and make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of production activities.
Measure and reduce the company?s costs, through waste reduction.
Liaise with Production Engineering to review and recommend factory layout improvements.
Maintain health and safety standards.
Liaison with Production Engineering to ensure that new products are well suited to efficient production techniques, and are smoothly and promptly introduced into production.
