PRODUCTION PLANNER
Up to £25,000 plus benefits North Manchester
Our client is a consumer goods giant, manufacturing a wide range of well-recognised branded and own label fmcg products. Operating in a competitive and dynamic sector supplying the major multiples and broader retail marketplace, exceptional service levels are increasingly important to the ongoing success of this Fortune 500 organisation.
This role will have responsibility for creating the production schedule for a range of products manufactured across two different sites, ensuring that customer service levels and company stocking policies are both achieved at minimal cost. Liaising with various internal functions including production, warehousing and supply co-ordination, the appointee will be required to deliver against KPIs on a day-to-day basis as well as contributing to the ongoing success of the team through involvement in continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates, preferably of degree calibre, will ideally have a minimum of two years planning/scheduling experience gained within a customer-focused fmcg or closely related organisation. Essentially, applicants will be bright, enthusiastic, interpersonally strong and will be comfortable working in a similar dynamic, high volume environment. Some experience of MRP2 is desirable for this role and knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
