This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding organisation that is recognised as a specialist supplier of RF, microwave and sensing component and sub-systems with a strong, and in a number of cases leading, positions in global, niche markets.
The overall purpose of the role is to provide to develop, implement and promote HSE policies, and set strategies for our UK sites, and to drive through the company's plan with regard to Health and Safety Law.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Health and Safety Manager, in a process engineering or manufacturing environment, and will be experienced and knowledgeable in the practical application of Health and Safety law, especially in relation to high voltage chemicals, gasses, solvents, radiation, lasers and furnaces.
You will be NEBOSH qualified as a minimum, and a member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety, along with being a registered Safety Practioner.
You will be responsible for managing the Health and Safety team, and ensuring advice and support on Health and Safety provided to managers and employees reflects current EC directives and legislation.
