Summary: OEM Electronics and electro - mechanical
My client are leaders in the design, development, manufacture and sale of high precision electronic calibration, measurement and instrumentation equipment.
The company is now looking for a Purchasing Manager who will manage and administer the materials and purchasing function for the business. This role needs to target key areas, namely, reduction of costs, vendors, lead times and inventory. You will be responsible for the whole supply chain process from Purchase to Finished Goods Stock. Develop, introduce, and drive "best practice" supply chain management techniques such as inventory reduction through waste elimination, cost reduction, supplier reduction, lead time reduction, introduce materials pull through system.
The candidate should have a minimum of five years purchasing / supply chain management experience in a thrusting world-class "lean-manufacturing" / assembly environment.
